View the colorful display of the season's array of yellows, oranges and blues in a lush carpet of green grasses, emerging from the beautiful hills and oak woodlands of Deer Creek Hills.
Have you always wondered the names and characteristics of wildflowers to the central valley region? Join Eric Stackhouse, SVC Docent and biologist, on this hike at Sacramentos largest open space preserve to share his knowledge of the blooming wildflowers. This hike will explore the rolling foothills, letting you eyes to drink in the spectacular colors of Spring.
$10.00 registration fee and RSVP on-line or contact Gina Silvernale @ 916/612-3719. $40. Season passes available.
Round trip hike approximately 4-8 miles. Hikers of different capacities are always welcomed and will be divided accordingly to best suit your pace! Slower, moderate and adventurous paces are offered.
A self guided trail is also available to the public at no cost.
