    Be witness to the colorful rolling hills of blooming lupine, fields of California poppies as hikers follow cattle paths on this working cattle ranch.

The activity of the Lewis Woodpeckers, the Red-Tailed Hawk, Yellow Legs, Redwing Blackbird, Blue Herons and Snow Egrets can be viewed in both oak woodland and wetland environments to Deer Creek Hills.

$10.00 registration fee and RSVP on-line or contact Gina Silvernale @ 916/612-3719. $40. Season passes available.

Round trip hike approximately 4-8 miles. Hikers of different capacities are always welcomed and will be divided accordingly to best suit your pace! Slower, moderate and adventurous paces are offered.

A self guided trail is also available to the public at no cost.
